Special Exhibits at the Quilt Show

We are very excited to announce not just one, but two special exhibits at our Fanfare of Quilts Show in 2025!

First, we have an exhibit titled “The Magic of Fabulous Faces” by Jean Impey & Freddy Moran.

What happens when two inspiring and energetic Artists combine their love of quilting, friendship, and talents? Creativity explodes into a one-of-a-kind Collection “The Magic of Fabulous Faces”.

Renowned quilters Freddy Moran and Jean Impey joined their creative spirits back in 2017 when they agreed to teach a collage retreat. Now each artist creates their own collaged faces.  Then, Jean finishes them by quilting and providing a unique story and name for each. We hope you enjoy this collaborative exhibit!

Second, we have an exhibit titled “Route 66 2026 Centennial Celebration ART Quilt Project” created by the talented members of Bits ‘n’ Pieces Quilt Guild

Come “drive” Route 66!  Following the route from Chicago to Los Angeles, you’ll see over 50 different attractions/locations from all eight states on the Mother Road. Do you have a favorite memory from Route 66?  Have you wanted to travel the historical route?  Did you know the “birthplace” is Springfield, MO?  Or, the middle is in Texas?  Come see a giant catsup bottle, a hotel listed in the Green Book, a blue whale, a gas station with a tow truck that inspired a movie, and, that corner in Winslow….and all the rest!  As the saying goes, come “get your kicks on Route 66”.
