Retreat Details

Here’s an opportunity to finish those Christmas gifts or that quilt you plan to enter in our 2027 quilt show.

We know this is a busy time between Thanksgiving and Christmas, which is why we set it up as a commuter-only event (no overnight stays).  This flexible format allows you to sign up for anywhere between 1 and 4 days.  The cost is $30 per day, and lunch is included.

Priority registration will go to those who sign up to attend all 4 days. Then the remaining slots open to those who want fewer retreat days. There is a maximum of 18 quilters per day. Slots will be held for 4-day attendees until Sept. 20 and then we’ll fill in the fewer day requests.

There will be a $5 per day discount for members who volunteer to provide an ironing board and  iron for the full time, even if you don’t plan to stay all four days. We need 4 ironing boards and irons.

Purpose of Retreats

Not finding time at home to start or finish a project?  A retreat may be what you need.  Our guild schedules retreats throughout the year.  Retreats have many benefits. They:

  • Provide time to really focus on projects without interruptions
  • Can be one day, a couple days, a long weekend or during the week
  • Can be local or a couple hours away
  • Give you an opportunity to meet fellow guild members and build new friendships
  • Are relaxing and in a peaceful and comfortable environment
  • Are a way to get help from other quilters who are helpful and love to share their knowledge with you
  • Are always FUN!!!
