Route 66 2026 Centennial Celebration ART Quilt Project

Hosted by Art Bits STL and created by members of the Bits ’n’ Pieces Quilt Guild, this one-of-a-kind exhibit invites visitors to take an artful “drive” down historic Route 66.

The show features 66 individual art quilts, each measuring 24” x 24”, with every piece highlighting a different Route 66 location, landmark, or attraction. Together, the quilts form a colorful stitched journey across all eight Route 66 states, traveling from Illinois to California and celebrating the road’s beginning, end, middle, and “birthplace.”
