Joyce Franklin of Piece Works Quilt Shop, Winterset Iowa is our speaker at the August 25, 2026, Bits meeting. Her program and trunk show is titled “Out of My Box.”
Joyce’s quilting style has evolved from traditional quilts into modern and art quilts. She recently retired from owning her quilt shop in Iowa for 44 years.
Sadly, Joyce’s workshop, Improv Arches, is currently full with a wait-list.
