Mothers & Daughters Quilt Exhibit
Most of us learned to quilt at the knee of a parent or grandparent: threading needles before we could reach the pedal, absorbing fabric wisdom one stitch at a time.
So when that same love of quilting gets passed down and both generations end up with quilts on display together, it’s a full-circle moment worth celebrating.

The Quilt with heART mini-group is throwing the most festive night of the summer — the annual Nite-Before-Christmas Salad Supper on Tuesday, July 28 at 6:30pm!
Dust off your favorite ugly sweater or holiday PJs (yes, really — prizes are on the line!), and bring a salad or dessert to share. There’ll be games, prizes, and a special guest to make the night memorable.
This year we’re also supporting the Salvation Army Angel Tree — bring an unwrapped gift to donate. If you picked up a ticket at a recent meeting, this is the night to bring it in!
Doors open at 6pm. Dinner at 6:30. Come ready to eat, laugh, and celebrate Christmas in July the Bits way. 🎁
The International Quilt Museum in Lincoln, NE is hosting a free, family-friendly open house on July 18, 10am–2pm, celebrating America’s 250th. The Material Nation exhibition features over 250 objects — quilts, tools, and historical pieces spanning generations of quilting arts. Registration is encouraged but admission is free!
