Supply list: Quick Curve Mini Ruler and Mini Rings pattern (order from Sew Kind of Wonderful at www.sewkindofwonderful.com), 2 bobbins pre-wound, 6” or Larger Square up Ruler, Best Press or starch, 12.5” Square Ruler (unfinished block is 11.5”), regular quilting supplies (thread, sewing machine, needles, rotary cutter, etc.). Instructor Norma Stark has loved the art of quilting since 2001 and is a national teacher who taught for the Virtual Quilt Show in 2020 to students all over the world. Her specialty fields include running a successful long arm quilting business and teaching quilt piecing.
Norma will be giving a program at Hearts n Hands Quilt Guild, O’Fallon IL, on April 8th we are welcome to attend (after members).

This workshop will take you beyond just cutting strips, squares and rectangles with your Stripology rulers! Learn to utilize the ruler for 1/4″ and 1/8″ inch increment cutting, squaring up blocks, cutting 45 degree and 60 degree angles, making basic quilt elements such as a Half-square Triangles and Flying Geese, and more!

Improve your foundation paper-piecing skills and play with color and layout options while making the Mini Mirrored Diamonds quilt. The quilt is made with four different foundation paper-pieced half-rectangle triangles in three sizes. Students will receive instruction on foundation paper-piecing and will be able to arrange their blocks to make many modern secondary designs.
