Bits’ members have really stepped up to the challenge of quilt making for all of our upcoming Honor Flights. Your love and support is appreciated!
Here are two recipients in their own words:
I want to thank all the members of the BITS N PIECES QUILT QUILD for all the Time and Love that went into each and every quilt given to the Honor Flight veterans for their flight.
Our weather in DC was perfect, most were in shorts and t-shirts, in the 80’s, but the plane was cold, as expected, so I covered up to keep comfortable. Thank You again,Ron Hopkins – Flight #116, United States Air Force
On behalf of my husband, Jerry Hoeft, thank you for the lovely lap quilt. Your efforts and hard work in creating such beautiful quilts is greatly appreciated. Jerry is a veteran on the September 30 Honor Flight to Washington DC with our daughter as chaperone. The quilt will go along for sure.
