Darla Gibson, Quilt Show Chair
It’s official—registration for Fanfare of Quilts 2027 is now open!
We’ve been talking about it, planning for it and creating for it, and now it’s time to tell us what you’re bringing to the show.
We encourage every guild member to consider entering. Fanfare isn’t just about showing award-winning quilts—it’s about celebrating the creativity, skill and variety within our guild. Whether you’ve been quilting for decades or recently finished your first quilt, we want to see what you’ve made!
Before You Start
Registration is online only, and each entry must be completed in one sitting. You cannot begin an entry, save it and come back later, so a little preparation will make registration much easier.
Before you sit down to register, have your quilt title, measurements, category, year completed, maker and quilter information, pattern/designer information (if applicable), and any applicable guild workshop, challenge or group association handy.
You will also need:
- A 50-word-or-less story about your quilt. What would you like visitors to know about it?
- Your preference regarding whether this is a priority entry or one that can be included if space permits.
- Pickup information, including the name and phone number of another person if someone else will pick up your quilt.
- A photo of your completed entry, already saved on the device you are using to register.
A clear photo showing the entire quilt or item is best.
First Time Entering Fanfare?
We want to honor members who are showing a quilt at Fanfare for the very first time!
If you have never entered a quilt in Fanfare before, be sure to check the box indicating that this is your first Fanfare quilt.
Entering several quilts? Check the box on just ONE of them. They can’t all be your first!
More Than One Entry?
Wonderful! We’d love to see them.
Each quilt or item needs its own registration form, so complete and submit one registration before beginning the next.
Step-by-step instructions are available to help walk you through the online registration process, and the Fanfare Committee is available to help if you run into questions.
Most importantly, please don’t decide that your work isn’t “good enough” to enter. Fanfare of Quilts is our opportunity to share what our members create, learn and love with each other and with our visitors.
So take those photos, gather your information and start registering.
We can’t wait to see what YOU bring to Fanfare of Quilts 2027!
