When you search the new Member Directory, you will be able to find everyone in a mini-group or on a committee (and match names to faces!)
For the first time in Bits ’n’ Pieces history, members will have an online directory that does much more than provide contact information—it will help us get to know one another!
Watch your Inbox for an Invitation To Set up your Member Directory Profile.
You’ll be able to add a photo, tell us a little about yourself, and show the committees, mini-groups, and other guild activities you participate in. Plus show off your favorite quilt.
Best of all, the directory will be searchable. Wondering who belongs to a particular mini-group or committee? You’ll be able to look them up and finally put names with faces.
Members who teach, are authors, or offer longarm quilting services for hire can also identify that in their profiles, making it easier for fellow members to find their expertise.
And don’t worry if online stuff isn’t your favorite activity. Ruth Grimes (click to see her profile) and members of the Communications Committee will be available at our meetings to help anyone who needs a hand getting started.
We’re excited to get everyone into the new directory! P.S.: The invitation comes with an easy to follow instruction guide, too, written by Dianna Kogut (click to see her profile).
