Route 66 Traveling Quilt Show Rolls Up to Red Cedar Inn

Bits celebrated the opening of the Route 66 Centennial: Art Quilt Project at the Red Cedar Inn Museum & Visitor Center in Pacific, MO, complete with ice cream treats and a meet-the-quilters book signing reception. We had quite a turnout!

It was an evening of quilting conversations, new friendships, delicious refreshments, and a warm Bits 'n Pieces welcome for those who have joined the guild during the past year.

Joyce Franklin of Piece Works Quilt Shop in Winterset Iowa, will be presenting her workshop, "Improv Arches" in August. The workshop is sold out and there's a waiting list but Joyce will also be our August presenter.
